Terms of use
These terms apply to TEX Remove at tools.texploder.com/remove.
Updated:The service
TEX Remove is a free tool for removing image backgrounds and exporting transparent PNG files. No account is required. Provider and contact details are available in the central legal notice.
Your images and your rights
Only upload images that you are entitled to use for this editing process and transmit to the service. Respect copyright, privacy and the rights of people shown in the images.
Using the service does not transfer copyright in your images to us. You permit only the processing needed to upload, edit and return them. We do not use uploaded images to train AI models.
We charge no additional licence fee for results. Whether you may publish or commercially use them depends on your rights to the source image and any other applicable rights.
Permitted use and limits
The service supports individual PNG, JPEG and WebP images up to 25 MiB and 25 megapixels. Save animated files as a still image first. One image can be processed at a time; the displayed capacity and usage limits also apply.
Do not bypass security measures or limits, or deliberately overload the service. Do not submit unlawful content. High demand, maintenance or faults may delay or interrupt processing.
Check your results
Background removal is automatic. Depending on the image, details may be missing or parts of the background may remain. Check the result before using it and use the available correction tools where needed. Perfect background removal for every image is not promised.
Storage and privacy
The service is not an image archive. Save any results you need to your device and keep your original files. Previews and edits you have not downloaded may be lost when you close or reload the tab.
After receiving the result, the page requests deletion of the server copy. The server removes the image and result no later than 15 minutes after the job was created. The privacy notice provides further details.
Liability and contact
Liability is governed by applicable statutory provisions. These terms do not restrict mandatory statutory rights. For questions or problems, contact the operator using the details in the legal notice.
